Eating out doesn't have to be expensive

I love to eat out.  I don't have to do the dishes if I eat out, but it does get expensive if you pay retail all the time.  I'm not a retail kind of person though so I'm always looking for ways to get a great deal on my dining out.  Here are few examples of how you too can save while dining out.

  • Get a gift certificate from Restaurant.com-There are many restaurants on Restaurant.com that you can get gift certificates for a fraction of the face value price.  Many times, you can get these certificates for as low as $2 each for a $25 certificate.  There is a link to Restaurant.com on the side bar to this page.
  • Sign up for emails from national chain restaurants-Many restaurants send out great deals via email.  Ruby Tuesday has been known to do B1G1F deals, Dairy Queen does B1G1F Blizzards, and Chili's does free deserts and appetizers as well as kids eat free days very often.  Look around at the restaurants close to you and see if you can sign up for their emails too.
  • Daily deal sites have great restaurant deals-Check Groupon, Living Social, and all the other great daily deal sites for dining deals in your area.  The local newspapers and some radio stations around are doing these deals now also.  There is a list of great daily deal sites right here on Loving Disney by clicking on the Daily Deals tab at the top of this page.
Personally, I use all these methods to find a great dining deal, but that's not necessary if you don't have time to search through them all.  The goal is to make it affordable for you to dine out when you want to (maybe so you don't have to do the dishes either!).

Happy dining out!!
